Blitzø//WHY//Helluva Boss
It’s been a while. I haven’t had inspiration or motivation to get into editing again for quite some time. I always think about ideas though, it’s just hard to get them out a lot of the time. I have always wanted to edit to NF, this song especially has stuck with me for quite a while. His music is really relatable to me, I love his Hope album and have listened to it all the time since it released last year. Music is such an important part of me since I find that it helps me cope and feel less alone, that’s a big part of why I love editing even though I don’t do it as much anymore.
I’ve really found comfort in the Helluva Boss series. I do enjoy Viv and her teams work on both of her series. But Helluva Boss has just really stuck with me very hard. The humor and punchlines can be pretty crude, but God the underlying themes and relationships just captivate me. I love all of the characters so much and so many of the stories that have been explored I can relate to more than I can explain. But Blitz really is something special. I HATED him so much at first, his attitude and how he handles himself just put me off so much…until I realized why. I see a LOT of myself in him, in his story that we know so far, in his trauma, in his fears. He embodies many of my ugly trauma traits and symptoms that are deeply ingrained in me and I just really hold that close when it comes to his character and it makes me feel seen when I often don’t. I’m looking forward to seeing more of his growth as the show progresses.
This song really makes me think of him, since I relate to it so much. It was nice to edit to something a bit different from my normal media too. Maybe I’ll think about doing some more with this series, I also really adore and have attached myself to Stolas as well so maybe something of the owl boy. I know I’m not as active and involved as I once was on here, but thank you for sticking around and watching.

Angie it's so wonderful to see you edit again, and with NF!! God I love his music, I listen to it a lot at work..it's therapy (session) I understand the struggles of having ideas but having a hard time editing and I'm so glad you were able to put together this edit. Honestly? Your clips are SO good and thoughtful, I never thought about blitz with this song but it works so well. The lyrics really fit him. It's so cool you were able to relate to him so much and I hope you can continue to make edits to helluva boss! I hope you're doing okay, we haven't talked in years but you were always so kind to me.
Aaaahh I appreciate your comment so much! I’ve had a hard time finding my creative outlets for a while but I’ve been gradually getting back into creating things. I got pretty attached to this project so I think that helped with the flow. For some reason this series has been a big catalyst. I’ve just really attached myself to the cast it seems. I’ve been doing alright, I hope that you have too. It’s wonderful to hear from you ❤
